The Artist featured in this photo is Pipi Tustian, a self-taught textile painter based in Duncan, BC, known for her bold, hand-painted fabrics and playful spirit. Drawing from her childhood immersed in craftsmanship and color; shaped by her Latvian heritage and a mother who sewed daily. Pipi leads with emotion and energy in every stroke.
For nearly 30 years, she has produced functional art – fabric paintings, printed textiles, upcycled upholstery and clothing – fusing pattern, story, and Pacific Northwest inspiration. Her work includes cushion covers, runners, tea towels, clothing, and more, each piece steeped in color and soul.
